The two revenue sources
Kalkulatorapp.com earns money in two ways, and only two ways:
- Display ads via Google AdSense. A standard ad network. We choose where ads appear, but not what gets shown — that is determined by Google's ad auction. Ads appear after the calculator result, never above it, and never beside the input fields.
- Affiliate links to financial products that fit the topic of the page. Every affiliate link on this site is labelled with the tag Sponsored · Affiliate. If you click one and complete the partner's action (e.g., a quote request, a signup), we receive a small commission from the partner. The price you pay is unaffected.
What we will never do
- We will never sell or share your calculator inputs (salary, loan amount, etc.) with banks, lead-generation companies, or any third party. Calculator inputs never leave your browser in the first place.
- We will never write a calculator output to nudge you toward a particular product. The math is the math.
- We will never disguise an affiliate link as editorial recommendation. If money changes hands, it is labelled.
- We will never accept payment from a partner to alter a methodology page, change a number, or rank one product above another.
Current affiliate partners
As of May 2026, we are evaluating partners in the categories below. We will list each active partner here once a relationship is signed.
- MRTA / mortgage protection brokers — relevant on the home loan calculator.
- Tax-filing services — relevant on the income tax and salary calculators.
- Comprehensive car insurance comparison — relevant on the car loan calculator.
- High-yield savings products and PRS providers — relevant on the EPF projection calculator.
Editorial independence
The methodology page, the formulas, the bracket tables, the FAQ answers, the comparison page that calls out lead-gen sites — none of that is for sale. It is the product.
